The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice celebrates its 35th anniversary

Members and friends of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice will celebrate 35 years of its dynamic activity during a unique Gala, which will take place as part of the 15th European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ECSME). The interiors of the NOSPR will be filled with music by a renowned French band.

On October 27 and 28, several thousand people from Poland and abroad will take part in the 15th edition of Europe's largest event dedicated to the small and medium-sized enterprise sector at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Once again, the congress will be an opportunity for many substantive discussions and networking meetings. For the members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice, which is organizing the event, a particularly important item on the agenda is the Gala of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice. This year, it takes on special significance as it will mark the 35th anniversary of the Chamber's establishment. The Economic Awards of the European SME Congress will also be presented during the Gala.

The rich history and dynamic activity of the RIG in Katowice

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice is a rapidly growing economic self-government organization, currently bringing together nearly 700 companies. It was established on February 13, 1990, by 103 founders and registered on March 21, 1990. The initiator of the establishment of the Chamber and its first president was Tadeusz Donocik, who held this position from 1990 to 2018 and is currently the Honorary President of the Chamber. It is worth noting that the RIG continues the tradition of the Chamber of Commerce established in Katowice in 1922, and from 1927, the Silesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which operated until 1950.

The RIG in Katowice Gala will be held in the prestigious concert hall of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. This venue is an architectural icon of contemporary Katowice and, thanks to its unique acoustics, appreciated even by the most demanding music lovers, it is considered a symbol of culture and class in the Silesian Province. During the event, the NOSPR hall will be filled with the sounds of soul, funk, and jazz music by Electro Deluxe. This band consists of top French musicians who have been distinguished by their unique and original sound for over twenty years. With an unrelenting rhythm, an explosive brass section, and charismatic American vocalist James Copley at the helm, they constantly explore musical boundaries. Their albums have repeatedly topped the jazz charts and made it into the top ten of the pop charts. The artists are famous for their extremely energetic concerts, which attract crowds and sell out in the blink of an eye. For years, they have been performing at the largest and most prestigious festivals in Europe. On October 27, they will perform for participants of the RIG in Katowice Gala in Katowice.
